I predict there will be no further response from the "con artist"(for lack of a better word) in question. He will use the just ignore it technique.won't matter though the truth is out and I laugh at all who took this long to realize that the type of thing that happened with the ribbon is their go to move.
I'll be crickets I tell ya, CRICKETS!

Sparky1, we all know you and alloriginal is one in the same.
As for a rebuttal, your screen shot proves I dis not make a $400 offer. It states, "The offer you were thinking about...". Once he put a reserve, I was out. I had no chance of getting it any cheaper than $400. His loss not mine.
As for screwing Greg. I did not screw him. The item was taken down and the guy had already decided to relist it. The only people Greg needs to be pissed at are the seller for backing out the deal and himself for not making the deal concrete. I told him if he is going to keep trying this, he needs to come with the money.
BTW, the seller thinks you made him the $400 offer because you contacted him first and kept contacting him.

Correct it says you were thinking about offering $400, thats true. But what is telling of how greg got AT'd is the part you neglect to talk about.
Seller says " I would not be in this position without your heads up and last minute phone call. That delayed my trip to the post office to send the item to greg. strange how things work out. I'm rooting for you"
Clearly the seller's decision was based on your teasing of the $400. You felt compelled to call him and work on him more.....and he is quite grateful to you.
The deal would have been concrete if you had not called him, the ebay message system wasn't enough for you in this case.
I love the arrogance when you say "I told him if he is going to keep trying this, he needs to come with the money"... but I am sure greg appreciates tutelage.
and it doesn't make 2 shites what the seller thinks. He's old, he can't read and now he knows for sure LSU fans are freakin nuts.........
Greg shouldn't be pissed at anyone. He should be glad he learned all the lessons he did in the last few days about collecting and most importantly about people.

If you are going to fabricate facts, better get them straight. I never once called him and only sent 2 emails, the first stating I would beat any offer he had and second was the mention of $400 after he replied that he was not going to entertain any offers and was going to relist it.
As for Sparky1 being Will, that would be pretty impossible considering where he is located.

no fabrication of facts here, I merely point out what his written message says...
It's ok to admit what took place.actually it's damn foolish to keep acting like you were not the catalyst for what will forever be know as AT's mounting of greg. You wore protection so it's all good.
So will is in the pen or say it ain't so, dead....then spraky1 is lsu7171 or you......... I know for sure it's not me.

I'm not denying I had anything to do with it, just that you are stating false facts. I never called him nor contacted him after the second email. I am guessing he thinks you and I are the same person and he thinks you made the $400 offer.
Greg may or may not be pissed at me, so be it. Like you said, all is fair in the eBay world.
You just still have the butt hurt after all these years, when I stuck it in you over the 59 Sugar Bowl watch. I know you contacted the seller after I talked him out of it for $800 (or whatever I paid for it) and cried that I ripped him off.
