I have a pretty unique piece that I grew up looking at on the wall of my parents house that my Dad gave me a couple of years ago.
My dad was a sales rep for Pan American World Airways and although Pan Am could not fly domestically in the US they were allowed to sell charter flights. In 1959 my Dad (who is a big tiger fan) sold some charters to LSU for the football team.
He went with the team on one of the charters when they played Kentucky.
He got the whole team to sign on the back of a Pan Am menu. He also wrote a "fake menu" using some of the players names (Baked Cannon Potatoes).
Billy Cannon autograph is there and so are all or most of the coaches Charlie Mac, Dietzel, Didier and Carl Maddox (think he as the AD? at the time) about 50 autographs in all. I have no idea what this is worth and am really posting to get some advice. My Mom and Dad are still with us and live in Diamondhead.
I think its worth quite a bit and I would like to surprise my Dad by giving him the cash.
Would appreciate any advice.

I will post more pics later. This is only a partial pic. The frame is about 18 inches long and 7 inches wide. So its difficult to get a pic which shows the whole frame where you can still read the autographs.

If it was the 1958 team, if you threw it on eBay for $1000 it would probably sell for that or more. 1959 team not sure exactly the price, but I mean $500-700. Regardless not a cheap price and a nice item. I would definitely get it reframed with UV glass and acid free paper, just so it does not get faded or ruined. Post more photos so we can get an idea.

this is the whole thing in the frame.
I opened the back of the frame today for the first time and there is a Pan Am piece on the other side of the autographs. I will open it up tomorrow again and take a picture of that.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pics but I not real good at taking or uploading pics.
